About St. Dunstan’s Nursery

St. Dunstan’s Episcopal Church provides a nursery for parents who wish to have their children supervised during worship services, Sunday morning events, and other Church events. The nursery welcomes babies and toddlers up to four years of age. Supervised care is available each Sunday morning from 10 am to 12 pm.

The nursery suite is located just inside the main entrance to the Parish Hall. If you need assistance finding the nursery, please ask our greeters or ushers for directions and they will be happy to assist you.

Parents may bring their children to the nursery for all, or a portion of the church service. When a parent signs a child into the nursery, the parent is asked to provide any information essential to the safe care of the child. Please be sure to bring bottles, extra diapers and a change of clothes. Comfort items, such as blankets, pacifiers and stuffed animals are also welcome.

The nursery is staffed with professional child-care providers who engage the children in age appropriate play and activities.

Meet the Nursery Assistants

Nursery Supervisor: Lucy Lourdes Osorio.

Lourdes has been working with St. Dunstan’s Nursery for over ten years. Former children from the nursery frequently stop in to say hello. Her favorite thing about Church is working and playing with the children as they learn about respect, charity and life as a Christian. Outside of Church she likes to garden. Lourdes is trained and certified in CPR, and has completed all of the required training classes from the Diocese of Virginia. We are glad to welcome her as she starts her 11th year at St. Dunstan’s nursery.

Nursery Assistant: Nancy Quiroga.

Nancy is new to St. Dunstan’s, and will be starting her second year in the Nursery. Her favorite thing about St. Dunstan’s is the warm, respectful loving community of people. Outside of Church, she likes to dance. Nancy is trained and certified in CPR, and has completed all of the required training classes from the Diocese of Virginia. We are happy to welcome her for her second year at St. Dunstan’s nursery.
